Trades for pickups, have: Maxon Super 70, EMG 81-85-89, DiMarzio Airzone, Fender CS 69 bridge, Bill Lawrence (Wilde) L500xl, 2x Duncan Designed HB108 (Performer/Detonator), SSS mim std set unused, maybe others I forgot
NECK: MAPLE/MAPLE stratocaster neck Fender Japan 80s / Fender USA / ESP Japan ONLY, thx.... Am Dlx welcome, if youre okay with valuation as *inferior* to most ESP, no intent to pay/trade more for it
ESPs known to work: 400, vintage plus, m-i (80s for sure) mirage, horizon 22 {list far from complete}
No mexico, no squier even fujigen squier, no ltd. No non-factory decals, no sanded blank headstocks. No rosewood, no warmoth, no exotic woods, no other japanese brands (luv em just fine, just got that covered already, thx)
No baseball bats. Fresh looking OR heavily worn-in played, but NOT - mangled, abused, botched repairs, warped etc.
Gloss yellow or gloss blonde fretboard, no unfinished fretboards please. Back of neck sanded possibly, have good hires pics.
Neck must require ZERO fretwork of any kind to be playable w/o any buzz at an action ( string height ) of no more than 2 Dunlop Heavy / 3 Fender Medium picks @ 12th fret (no thousandths of an inch mumbojumbo please, the pick method is way more straightforward reproducible and meaningful) running heavy-ish strings ~11-50s in Estd/DropD
Prefer medium frets or low and wide, none of that supertall schecter-style crap please.
Nut must be intact and good, bone always a welcome bonus. May be open to toplocks from Floyds instead as well. Roller nuts welcome if installed professionally and not throwing off the scale length (which they will do 100% of the time if plopped down right where a normal nut sat).
Post pics of what you have to offer. Thx,
-Andrew
PS to be installed in good faith on tricked out, hiend everything outfitted partscaster built on a Fender Japan body, no intent to misrepresent or mislead & not building for commercial gain anyway. If sold, body will retain dead giveaway Japan trem/saddles if ever paired with a USA neck & will be labelled under pickguard and rear trem cavity cover as a partscaster hybrid (not that 80s alder Fender Japan strats with expensive hardware and pups are any cheaper than non-vintage USA in our neck of the woods these days)... If paired with an ESP neck, it will also keep both ESP logo on neck & Fender branded saddles/neckplate to indicate its origins. No bullsh!t decals will be applied and it will never be sold without full parts list and origins info.
