No, but I did notice that a classis stack plus was €89 a few months back in thomann. I checked a few weeks back and they were €99. Now they're €102.
Luckily one came up second-hand around the time I decided on that pickup, so I was able to pick up what I was after anyway...if not I would have probably just waited. So they're playing the game called "Pickup companies aren't manufacturing, so demand will outweigh the supply and I can raise my prices" game. Doesn't fly in my book. Keep looking, there are great deals still out there; almost as if COVID isn't even a thing.
Good news is that California is starting to re-open, so they will be back to making pickups, soon. Don't buy from price gougers, there are plenty of dealers still shipping at normal prices. I haven't yet heard of a price increase everywhere, so it might just be them.
I wonder if prices will have to go up. If, due to social distancing requirements, pickup manufacturers have to arrange their shops in a way that halves the number of employees (and output), I would think they would need to increase prices to make a profit. I suspect a lot of restaurants won't survive because they won't be able to generate enough revenue due to the reduction of capacity in their restaurants due to social distancing, and people will accept only small price increases. This situation could force more manufacturing offshore, to countries where social distancing is either not required or not enforced.
I order a set from The Creamery in late Feb, last time it took 6 weeks for them to get here between making them and shipping to the US. So far I'm at over 2 months and they haven't shipped, but they did post on their site (after I ordered) that there's a 30-45 day delay because of COVID.
