So were you been hiding those Beautys? I think I remember seeing some thing about the black one but not the other two! NICE, NICE, NICE !!!

Thanks. I posted and reviewed the one left, then posted the initial build of the middle one, and I just got all the parts for the one on the right side today. The first build took long to ship but was a quick build, the other two took a while to collect parts because I opted to order all the hardware from somewhere other than Warmoth.

Nice! :) Three great colors.

Nice colors, nice pickup combo's.

Re: Want To See Something Badass? 3 Guitar Builds 100% Complete With New Pickups

They look like Wilkinson by Gotoh VS-100... am I right, Ubermetaldood?

Yes that's right, my favorite bridge. I always wanted to try the VS300 because it looks cool, but finally decided the bent saddles aren't worth the extra $.

Nice colors, nice pickup combo's.

Thanks. They are very different color choices, but I've always wanted strats with those three colors. Next one is going to be yngwie style but without the scalloping.

Those are some sharp instruments.

Did you catch the "builder" bug? It can be tough to get rid of.

I don't think I'll ever own another standard production guitar.

Well I must admit that though I love my new builds, my G&L strats are exquisite. There is not a single flaw in any of them. I have a couple of complaints about the Warmoth stuff, chiefly, the micro thin finishes that scratch with the touch of a fingernail. Even the finest Fender strat I own is inferior to my G&L's. Also, even though the Warmoth LP's are great too, I will never stop loving Gibson. Therefore, I don't think that I will end up exclusively using my own builds. However, now that I know how to do it, I won't stop building them either. I plan five new builds by the end of next year.

Nice.
That middle ax, you say "custom humbuckers", do you mean SD custom shop "El Diablo"?

Love the ice blue metallic one on the left.

i will try it but the dc resistance is 12 whereas sh4= 16
breed has more dc resist too
so ?
not important ?

Not sure what you are asking. If you are talking about output then you can't tell that from DC resistance. Also, higher output doesn't necessarily mean that a pickup has a more sensitive response to pick attack. The JB and Breed are similar in output. The JB feels very tight and has spiky high mids. The Breed feels loose but sounds pretty tight. The Breed has more low mids and bass than the JB and less top end treble than the JB. The Norton is slightly lower output than the Breed and JB, but a little more output than a hot vintage pickup. The Norton is similar to a Breed but a little less of everything, a little more organic, and some characteristics of a Fred.

i have a paf joe in neck
after a long search, i'm going to buy a norton because i'm not fan of the sound of steve vai
breed has good elements but norton is versatile

i wanted like a paf boosted but versatile and not too dark to remind me the fred and to be versatile
i like very much gary moore's tone in the live "blues alive" cold day in hell for example
or "the messiah will come"

the sounds goes to blues to heavy metal : fantastic and i know there are paf too

i don't know if norton is as warm as a seymour duncan but i will try it

yes it has a lot of output but dc resistance is lower than the breed

it norton doesn't work= il don't like dimarzio' pups: )

Man the Norton is versatile, and I think it will work for you, but if you want the Gary Moore sound then you need to get some WCR pickups. They are more expensive but worth every penny.
