Wanted: Cheap 2x12

[fuzz+strat]

Key word here is inexpensive. I'm after a no-frills cab that I'lll be able to get some nice classic rock/blues tones. Avatar anyone?

I have 2 empty 2x12s here..... but depending on where the Day of the Eagle is taking place it may be too expensive to ship them...

I've got a decent Madison 13-ply baltic birch 2x12'' cabinet (empty) I'd give you for $120 shipped and insured within conUS (ever since I got my Bogner, I don't need it anymore). I used the Madison cab when I was playing through my Hughes & Kettner Triamp and it worked well. It's nothing extravagant, but atleast it's made with good wood and the construction is solid. It's got wheels for easy movement, side handles and it's closed back, so it has good bass attributes. Just shoot me a PM if you're interested

I'm waiting on the word from forumite PRG concerning his cab, but I might consider this one os something doesn't happen with that deal. Have any pics?

Sorry I didn't get back to you already, I jammed on it last night and decided I don't want to part with it, it just sounds too good
You can always build a cab if you're strapped for cash. Less than $30 should get you a huge sheet of thick plywood (for a Marshall style cab) or some clear pine and thin plywood (for a Fender style cab). The hardware, wire, and some inexpensive vinyl or clear stain should set you back less than $20. Then grab you some speakers and you're set.
