After some good quality tools, with the hope of getting some a bit cheaper on here... or even sites/places where I can get good quality tools or alternatives without the big label and price tag too match

Do a search for my fretting tool kit post in the Guitar Shop, also, for nut files welding tip cleaners are great.

What are your opinion on the radius guages you can get from stewmac? and the string action guages?

Worth the £50 that stew mac offers for the "basic setup kit"?

I own the basic setup kit, so that should answer your question.

keep in mind, there's a lot more to doing a setup than measurements.
