I just bought a warwick corvette proline 93' and I have no idea why there's Seymour Duncan pickups (Jazz style) in it. Guitar Center says the proline series are custom done and this was probably a stock thing when ordered. Can anyone tell me one;which Seymour Duncan pickup this is and two;what's the best bass pickup to put in it. I need a very versitile sound but I tend to lean towards hard rock and numetal styles.

yes I just bought a 95 german corvette proline it also has duncans in it too mine is fretless though.The duncans were a custom option and was availiable as a limited edition or special .I am assuming the duncans were and upgrade over the stock mc`s .Would you mind if I ask what you gave for it?

The obvious questions;
1) Are the polepieces showing or covered?
2) Do the pickups have a 9/18v power supply cable?

We did some OEM work with Warwick back then and now. Warwick is not only an OEM customer, they're Seymour Duncan's distributor in much of Central Europe. I'd have to see the pickups to know which models the are.
