Washburn VCC Trouble

hi, i post something about this in the guitar forum but didnt get much response so i thought id try my luck in here seeings how it is a pick up problem,

i got a Washburn WI 100, it came with Randell Engaters, which are pretty bad so i took them out and threw some Invaders into it, the guitar has VCC, so the wiring on the stock pickups was a bit mad, but i figured i'll just put the Invaders in with the same lay out, which i did, but it didnt work, i put my guitar threw my amp and it sounded like a trebly clean,

I dunno if the wires are in the wrong place, or if my wiring is just a bit dodgey and i maybe i put one wires in the wrong place or didnt get a good connection.

Heres a diagram ive found which says this is how to wire SD's into a VCC guitar

http://forums.washburn.com/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=10013

Also i know they may be hard to make out but heres what ive done, the wiring ive done below its exactly whats in the diagram, so i dont know what ive done wrong... its it the wrong diagram??

Re: Washburn VCC Trouble

Well, I had a Washburn Idol that had that. I yanked all of the electronics and went with a pair of Seths and tradition LP wiring. Huge improvement
