Washburn VCC - Voice Contour Control

Has anybody any experience with Washburns VCC - Voice Contour Control? Especially can anybody explain how it's wired? The reason I'm asking is that I've been offered a practically new WD64 dl pretty cheap, If I buy it I think I'm gonna want to put in a pair of Seths. The Seths offer a wiring option of single conductor cable standard, or four conductor cable. Huh? :help:

Re: Washburn VCC - Voice Contour Control

im not sure what the vcc is but i bet its something like a spin a split, so youll need 4 conductor wiring

Re: Washburn VCC - Voice Contour Control

Jeremy's right. It's the same as spin-a-split, which does require 4 conductor.

That's a very cool guitar btw. I almost bought one a couple of years ago.

Not quite.

It pans from series to parallel.

No hum.

Re: Washburn VCC - Voice Contour Control

My Idol66 had that. I yanked them and put in Seth's with tradtional Gibson 4 knob electronics.
