Vocals and drums are too loud ... guitar needs to be louder, imo ...

There is no right or wrong with mixing, tho.

I disagree, leave the guitars where they are at. This song/style isn't suited to a guitar heavy mix. Tap that vocalist down a hair, and bring your kick drum up a hair. Done deal.

And godammit, I like that tune a lot. I thought Lou Reed had been reincarnated as an 18 year old the first time I heard it! It's nice to hear that rock and roll isn't dead.

P.S. You got big cajones coming into a guitarist dominated forum, and asking for mix opinions. What do you think they will say? :)

I had to come back and say... that is the best tune a link from this forum has taken me to since I started posting here 6 weeks ago. I listened to it several times now. The guitar work isn't going to set the world on fire, but IT WORKS!!!

You guys got a little mojo going, don't let it get away from you.

wow guys, thanks so much. i wish we coulda got more songs done, but we barely got this one done in the amount of time as it was. we all took 2 takes, and the first takes were the best every time
