Weber 8cm100 demo

So, I managed a quick demo of my build... I thought some of you might be interested (or not but hey...)

[original built thread here and follow-up here]

It's all recorded with my video camera so the sound is, well, passable at best. Still, it should give you an idea.
I installed a PPIMV, (it's the knob on the far right with no label). I only push it halfway twice, probably should've pushed it all the way as well but too bad. It's funny how little the perceived volume drop is through the camera while it was quite noticeable in the room.

I'd apologize for the playing but it's become such a cliché that I'll just pretend I'm a passable player. If some notice: I'm stealing riffs from Everytime I Die and Maylene and the Sons of disaster (poorly of course).

Cheers and enjoy my garage as a backdrop!

Nice. :)

And the lack of volume drop on the camera audio is because most video cameras have on board compression.

This is really cool. I started on an 8CM100 kit about 2 years ago and wound up gutting it to start over. Still haven't gotten around to finishing it up, the gutshots in that build thread look great. I might have to keep the thread handy as a reference when I revisit the amp.

glad the shots might be of help to others.
th work isn't as tidy as I would've liked but the next one will be better....

Hey, if it's wired correctly, it's wired correctly. It doesn't need to be neat to make a good reference. Still, it's not bad by any means.
