My amp makes a weird "whomp"-ing/buzzing/rattling sound as of late. It only does it when I palm mute what would be a C power chord, either with the root note on the 3rd fret on the 5th string (if in standard tunning) or on the 8th fret on the 6th string. However, I am down tuned a full step so it is actually a b chord. But it does it in standard tunnings aswell, same fret every tuning. It only does this when my BBE sonic maximizer is on. It does this with my passive pickups but not really with my emg equiped guitars. At first I though I might have too much bass but my eq for bass on my amp and maximizer aren't near maxed out. My chord I use from my guitar to amp is kinda crapping out so that may be the culpret, however, I'm not sure that would cause that. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I don't want to be doing damage to my equipment.
