Weird tech story + new strings: How long do they usually buzz for before settling?

I swapped out the necks from the 1a and the 4 to get a model 14a and a model 41. I put new strings on (D'addario XL .011s, my favorite so far) and BOTH necks get buzzing. Before, I NEVER got buzzing with new strings (not even for 1 minute), and the model 4 never buzzed. The model 1a though with the model 4 does buzz, and so does the model 4 with the 1a. I think I should wait another day and see if the strings settle but both guitars now are pretty unplayable.
I had to tighten the model 1a's neck. It had .o105s before and on the model 4 there was too much relief. The model 4's neck on the 1a seems fine.
So how long does it usually take for strings to settle in and stop buzzing as much? I guess it varies greatly so just tell me how much it takes for you then Thanks!

Sounds like you'll need to do some readjusting. Is the heel end of both necks the same thickness?
Stretch your strings out good with a nice tug on each one at the 7th - 9th fret and get them tuned to pitch then check the trussrod adjustment. Action might need adjustment too. I bet those necks have a different radius.
That's just how it goes when swapping things like that around.

P.S. those are sweet. I love the old strat-shaped Charvel's.

Both necks I'm pretty sure are EXACTLY the same but for the fingerboard
I adjusted the neck that needed it and the action. The rosewood neck's relief right now is fine. I'll try to add a little more tomorrow but right now it seems ok to me.

I didn't get mines for cheap. In Europe you can't. About close to 500 dollars for the model 4 and about 240 for the model 1a.

I wonder if the necks have a different radius..... Unlikely but you never know... But whatever the case is you'll need to do setups to both guitars to get them to work.. Nothing is ever easy.....

I can't look. That will only make it worse. Plus, my wife would kill me if I mentioned buying another guitar when we're in the middle of building a new house.
