And WOW! The cleans sound great, so warm and fat! Ive been playin some simple clean chord stuff and a bit of clean noodling and only just realised that i was using the stock middle single coil that came with my jackson...which in any other amp usually sounds pretty crap! But it sounds great!
And the distortions sound pretty killer now although i havent had enough chance to really kick em into gear yet, but down low they are sounding nice and thick.
It was a set of JJ KT88's and JJ ECC83S's for preamps, they sound tasty! :32:

There are some great ENGL's just down the road from me in melbourne too at Billy Hydes, they are a big stocker of ENGL stuff too, and they just got a new shipment in....which tomorrow hopefully im gonna go test for them
