Well... i bought another friedman pedal

Cool, I’m in a similar situation really. Got the BE and DS pedals and love them so will get the small box soon. I have a bunch of drive pedals at all price breaks, but the Friedman pedals take it up a notch. If I hadn’t recently got an old Marshall I’d have bought a small box 50 that I could have got a good deal on…. Next time.
 
The beod is my fav so far. Having both the beod and the small box is handy though because i am able to designate each to their own amp. The beod is so full sounding!!
 
I just tried it out. I only played it in a fully saturated conext, however. Must say, although similar to the beod, i like it very much. Sounds full like the beod but i'd also describe it as slightly airier. Beod sounds a little meaner, it's a pretty suble dif. If i had to say i liked one better, right now i'd say the DS, not sure if that is just because it is new to me, however. Before using it, the beod was clearly my fav od. Especially prefer it i over the small box. Very happy!!
 
I'll do a vid at some point. I need to fix my power situation so i can put all of my pedals in the same chain.

I will say, based on first impressions, i'd tend to use the beod for rhythm and the ds for lead. I've only really evaluated them in the context of being fully saturated, however. Smallbox is my least fav of the 3 and i might sell it. It is still very good.
