Well, I finally did it...

Said goodbye to my Marshall MG head (and a 1x10" kustom combo) and traded them +USD $100 for a vox tonelabs se.

This was a totaly blind trade. MG did its job well, but I feel I've justly graduated from its level of profession. I knew I wanted to go back to digital but just wanted a step higher than the zooms and digitek rp's I've used in the past.

To me it, sounds great through the PA and to an amp.

I'm planning on using this with my stereo 4x10 and was looking at the following power amps to push it.

Mosvalve
Rocktron Velocity
Crate Powerblock

Anyone have any experience with those?

I've got the latest one, the Tonelab ST, and it's what I turn to first. I've had a JCM2000 TSL, Peavey 5150 (original), I've tried most of the emulators, and still have a Line 6 Pod X3 Live and Digitech RP500. The Tonelab just sounds the best to me.

Get the Crate Powerblock. It's small and portable, and works great. They're discontinued, but there's a few on E-Bay.

Yea, I'm actually leaning in that direction, with the PB's preamp it would be easy to get my pedals out and do an all-analogue session if I really wanted to.
