Well that Tubedrive prototype

Anyways I stuck in a JJ tube and it turned more consistant, actually alot more;)
Here is a long clip, I am just going through several settings on the fly.

It has a Vol, Treble, Middle, Bass, Gain, and a "sound trimmer" on the back at the output, it can make the sound go from very dark to very open and more crunchy.

Used my AMT Dist Station set for clean Tweed amp, into my Marshall DRP-1 that get used as an ouputstage directly into my soundcard.
The guitar is my HW-1 strat.

Re: Well that Tubedrive prototype

Sorry guys;)
Will "never" happend again.
I have grown used to it now, since it does not sound or feel like any of our other pedals.
And the tube has a big word in how the unit will sound, some makes it all fuzzy and fat, others makes it more highergain like, some reminds of the old Dean Markley Overlord tubedrive, it is close to a K Butler design if I am not mistaken, anyways it is oldfashioned with transistors and the tube pushing each other into overdrive, no clipping diodes.
There is not a whole lot of "new" ways to do this!!!!!
Like alot of other constructions, they are simple and requires very little, the tricky part is to make it sound good, it is something that I want myself now, that is how I have it with pedals!
Let's see if this baby hits production??

Niels
