WEM Monitor Reverb

Anyone know anything about these?

I'm selling off a few things & a local guy offered me a 50w head as a partial trade...he's gonna stop by later this afternoon.

I NEED another amp like I need another hole in my head, but I've always heard good things about WEMs; kind of a Hiwatt/Sound City vibe????

I had a WEM combo - 2x12 50watter !

Single channel, well kinda, as it only had a hi & low input, but NO GAIN channel !
This thind was EAR-BLEEDINGLY LOUD, and come hell or high water, i could not get thgis thing to overdrive or distrort one bit.

This amp WILL give a Fender Twin Reverb a serious go for it's money and in the super-clean head-room steaks !!!

I sold it, because it was just wayyyy to bloody loud, with ZERO OD - a big negative factor those days for me !
OK, i only sold it June last year, but i needed something with a low vol OD !

Sold it and got a Blues Jr. and never looked back !

IF you need "head-room for AFRICA", get one, but then again, i do not know the Monitor Reverb !?
