Hi!
I'm making my pickguard.
It will be HSH with 5 way switch and one volume
Bridge JB
Neck Jazz or 59
Middle classic stack plus

I'm not sure if I want to split in 2nd and 4th position. In that case I have to split humbucker and single at the same time.
What switch type do I need?

if you want to split, get a super switch. its not complicated to wire up and opens up a lot of possibilities

Those humbucker split fairly well, but if you don't like the two and 4 position, don't be afraid to drop back to a 3-way switch

on Use a 4-pole super switch. If you plan to split the buckers, you can use an ssl1 rwrp in place of the stack…

1-connect jb and bridge tone pot to pos 123 to 1st pole of the switch on the switch
2- connect jazz and neck tone pot to pos 345 on the 2nd pole of the switch
3- connect ssl 1 rwrp to post 2&4 of the 3rd pole of the switch
4 connect the red+white of JB to. Pos 2 of the 4th pole
5 connect re+ white of jazz to a 2.2k resistor, thrn connect resistor to pos 4 on the 4th pole.
6. Connect the common lugs of poles 1,2,3 together, then to 1st lug of volume pot
7. Connect the common lug of 4th pole to ground

you get this:
1 jb full w bridge tone
2 jb splt w ssL1 (noise cancelling) w bridge tone
3 jb&jzz full w/2 tone controls
4) Jazz w/partial split + ssl (noise cancelling) and neck tone
5) jazz full w/ neck tone

If you want to split the '59, make sure you Custom Floor order one. The standard one comes does not come with 4-con wire for splitting.
