what am i better off with

right now im jsut using a standard stratocaster. Ive been thinking about taking the pickguard and pickups off and putting on a new pickguard with one invader humbucker. But lately ive been thinking that i should leave the neck and middle pickups on get a new pickguard and just add the invader to make it look like a fat strat. any opinions on which would be better? :dance:

I would say, the more pick-ups the better, but it's no good to have pick-ups in the pickguard that you don't ever use. What I did was order a Warmoth pickguard with a bridge humbucker and a neck single coil. That's what works for me.

ill probly have the fat strat pickgaurd with the humbucker bridge and the nec and middle single coil because i mainly play blink-182 but i play some other stuff like metallica,ac/dc,black sabbatth so id still use the other pickups
