What amp to buy?

So, My jackson has a Screamin Demon in the bridge, and an Alnico II Pro in the neck, im looking for a moderate/high gain amp with lots of definition. Any Suggestions? Also, im on a budget.

Well, im looking for some nice bottom end, not brittle highs, lots of note separation. i was to be able to hear every note, but i want high/moderate high gain too.

what type of music do you play? is there any bands tone that sounds anyway similar to what your looking for?


we need these(well not exaclty the 3rd one) to even slightly narrow it down from just about every amp on the planet.

OMG you basically want the Mesa/Boogie DC-5, I'm serious your description is dead on! Try searching on eBay, I'm not sure how much they sell for in the US, but aside from being heavy they sound incredible. They are high gain, but not super high gain, they're like you said moderate-high gain with amazing response, every note you play comes through
