What are some good pc speakers for my laptop???

I just got a kickass gateway notebook windows vista, intel core duo, centrino, cool little pc! And i want to get the line 6 guitarport rifftracker, what are some kickass monitors or speakers to get the best sound out of this rig? i dont wanna go over $150 bucks ! thanks in advance!

do you want something portable ? or will these be kept in one spot ?
There are tons of good sub sattelite setups for less than $150, something portable that has great sound may be harder to find.

I have an old logitech 2.1 system.

Logitech and others make 2.1 systems for usually under $50. The Bose computer speaker systems are a lot more expensive. For studio grade monitors, you can expect to pay in the $hundreds to the $thousands. I have a 200 watt Aiwa bookshelf system which I use. I just had to purchase a 1/8"-to-RCA cable. This way, I can just plug into my shelf system, home theater, or my DJ mixer.

You can't go wrong with Klipsch. For $100, I felt I got more than my moneys worth.

For the money, they are perfect !

I do NOT do any gaming (just not for me), so i use it for the obvious :

CD's, MP's, iPod, DVD's, and on-line sound clips !

PERFECT for me !!!
