I have tried Seths, '59's, Jazz, and I plan on trying the PG's and maybe Antiquities (if I have enough guitars!). What else do you recommend as a must try vintage style pickup?

Re: What are the *must try* vintage humbuckers?

ive always thought the PGs were the antiquity sound for me, but as i sad, for me

Re: What are the *must try* vintage humbuckers?

I really like the antiquitys and the alnico II pro's more than any of the ones you have so far tried.

Re: What are the *must try* vintage humbuckers?

Oh, btw, I have the Fralin 7.5 in the neck of my Flying V! Review comin soon!

Re: What are the *must try* vintage humbuckers?

antiquitys and pearly gates love them both. different but both really good sounding pups

Another vote for Antiquities.

Great pickups, swap the magnet for different tone/response. I put a full-strenght A2 in mine (8.67k). A keeper.

Jon Moore, first hand experience.

Have heard a lot of great things about Timbuckers and am on the waiting list, but not due 'til May. Haven't yet tried a Fralin...

Haven't tried an Antiquity yet either, come to think of it. Oh well, when the money comes in...
