I hjave not tried any of the Marshall pedals, but I did not care for the SD-2 at all...in fact I do not like any Boss Distortion pedal...they just all sound fake to me. Im not saying that people can not get good sounds with them, what Im saying is that I can not get good sounds with them!

Curious as to what constitutes "Better" so I can continue to tweak the DS1? Some specifics would be welcomed... :wink:

We're still talking about a $40 pedal in the DS1 right?

i'd suggest Line6's UBER METAL- 3 voicings should you get board, all very intense...

Ditto! I know you guys are gonna slag it...but line 6 makes good products. UBERMETAL!!

If your using a modeler stay clear though.
