What do I do with my Les Paul?

Alright, so I attempted a refin of my Les Paul Studio (the good ones from the early 90's with ebony fretboards and gold hardware) and screwed it up many times. I'm going to fix it over the next couple months, including new pickups.

To hold me over in the meantime, I bought a sweet little Cort PRS-knockoff, and tossed a Jazz and JB/C5 in there. It's a 25.5" scale guitar, and it'll be my detuned/metal/rock guitar, for which those pickups will work great.

Anyways, what do I do with my LP? I play lots of different things, but mainly modern rock stuff to indie rock stuff. Trying to get into metal, but the Cort has that covered. I also have a Strat which I seldom play, so I've got the wimpy single-coils covered.

What would you do in my shoes? I was thinking a pair of Phat Cats, because the guitar is pretty dark sounding. I have a spare set of A8 magnets that I could toss in them to phatten them up even further, or experiment with A5's as well...

BTW, check my new sig for my "rig" details. I've only got the MicroCube, but will be picking up a B-52 AT-212 in a couple weeks.

Those Microcubes are awesome- I bought one myself to play around with- nice alternative to my JCM800 2x12

Phat cats is a cool idea - everyone should have a P-90 LP! Or a PG set for all around PAf with a little extra, very flexible!

Dude, I had a Pod XT hooked up to $500 studio monitors with the model packs tweaked to hell...this $125 two-watt amp kicks its ASS.

Just you see...I'm going to record some tones with my e609 on the "recto" setting and this thing is heavy as HELL. The cleans are decent, the dirty bluesy sounds suck, but the recto sounds better than a Mesa. I'm not kidding. I like it more than Mesa Boogie Dual Recs.

Okay...I'll do comparison clips of the A8's with the 'cube and you'll see...
