I recently bought a seymour duncan pickup off ebay and its suppose to be a screaming demon. Anyways it came in a screaming demon box ,but i dont know if it really is one. It has a small sticker on the back that says 12bl. If it is a demon, is it a tem bucker or regular spaced demon? Can anyone verifie that which pickup it is ?

Re: What do I have

Doesn't the "sh" always mean that it's standard spaced? It comes in both. The trembucker is the TB-12.

Re: What do I have

Check the distance between the pole peices (2.25" for trem space)...looks like standard spacing..tho

its a standard spacing, can i still use it with a trem ?

Not unless you like getting electricuted.

j/k

Yes you can use a standard spaced bucker with a trem. The strings just won't line up with the pole peices totally correctly. But its really no big deal.

Re: What do I have

SH stands for "Seymour Humbucker" if I recall correctly. But if it's trem-spaced, you get the TB ("Trem-Bucker") prefix.
