I don't particularly dig the distressed multilayer primer look of the Truckster, considering the class of his previous sig Eclipse i dont think it looks great. Im sure it probably plays pretty good. I think the Les Paul GT looks ok in comparison, though im not sure how much they cost (im expecting a stupid amount).
what you choose depends on how much you like your Epi, how good it sounds to your ears and how well it plays. If you were picky or lucky enough to have a good epi im sure it would serve you well and be a good platform to upgrade parts with.
