What does it mean to wire a humbucker in parallel?

I was reading reviews of the Super Distortion and Super 2 on H.C., and a lot of people wire them to work as both full humbucker and also parallel. I'm familiar with splitting a humbucker into single coil, but have no idea what parallel wiring means. Can someone shed a little light on the subject.

a humbucker (i believe) is 2 single coils wired together in serie). so if a humbucker was wired in parallel, i think it would be most like 2 single coils wired in parallel.

Here's a diagram I made for another post awhile back. It may help some.

It becomes similar to splitting it, but noiseless. The tone is a bit weaker, a bit less bass. I think it depends on the individual pup, the degree to which you'll like the results. I didn't care for my C5 parallel'ed.
