What 'fuzz' is in the GraphicFuzz, from EHX ?

. . . does anyone know what fuzz-unit did EHX put in their GRAPHICFUZZ ?

Big Muff, w. EQ
Russian Muff, w. EQ
LBM, w. EQ
Double Muff, w. EQ

. . . if it is one of the above, i asume i'd be able to get a very simmilar tone with my Big Muff, & 7band Behringer EQ, right ?

I like the tones on the EHX site, but do not want to shell-out the money, IF i can re-create the tone (or very simmilar) with what i have already !

I would go with the USA Muff and an eq. I think you would get close.

The fuzz circut in the Graphoc Fuzz is not any other EH circut...a Big Muff and an EQ willnot get you all that close...bite the bullet and get a Graphoc Fuzz...

You might be right; I'm not totally sure. But if you can tweak your equalizer to simulate the sounds of the clips they provide, it should be fine.

the graphic fuzz isn't so much a fuzz but more a crunch machine. christian is right, it isn't really based on anything. the EQ doesn't help an amazing amount in my mind and it's tricky to use at first. once you get the hang of it the dist. is very good. however it still not a fuzz
