I cannot longer find Planet Waves cables and every internet/Amazon search shows D'Addario instead. I remember Planet Waves used to be part of D'Addario, did they just rebrand the products? The most durable guitar cable I had was a Planet Waves one of those those sturdy plastic cover behind the connector to avoid tension at the cable soldered union. Since that I had tried Fender and Ernie Ball but those are not built to last, or maybe I got spoiled by Planet Waves.
Have you used these D'Addario cables? They look almost the same as the old Planet Waves, are they durable?
Howa about Warm Audio cables? Those look expensive but I would hate to buy a product that has quality materials but not strong enough for the use of live performance.
Edit: Maybe I should just take myself an iron and resolder my EB cables, probably that way I will have cables that can be used for decades while the molded ones from D'Addario cannot be soldered again and maybe I should stay away from those, but my PW one lasted for almost a decade before having issues, the EB started making some noise after one year use.
