Hi there, I'm Bee from indonesia, I have plan in changing the factory tubes from the bass preamp which I already had. I found the factory tube brought a lot of hiss sound & it made my STC 3 onboard preamp noisy enough, I really don't know why it happened?.....

some said, I must replace the 12AX7 tube, so that what I will going to do, but I still confuse what is the best 12AX7 tube for delivering a deep, warm & bright sound for bass, with less noise help me please. :)

I think you can take profit of the characteristics of the Tung Sol 12AX7 reissue. Without any doubt, is the tube with higher projection in low end and has also bumped trebles so, it should do the trick for you.
But, take into account that there is not the best tube for every amp or even every position.
Some other with experience in tubes exactly for your preamp can be more accurated.

Buy a few different brands and see what YOU think.
Modern day tubes are not very expensive. Just a fact of life with tubes, you need to buy and try. You also need a spare or two. They Can/Do go dead at anytime.
The above suggestion for Tung-Sol is very popular. JJ and TAD are also a good start.
DO NOT get hung up on ANY of the marketing scams that deal with Gold Pins, Cryo treatment, etc etc etc.
Good Luck

jjs for 2 reasons.
1. cos they have the deepest tone and most headroom
2. cos they came stock in my hartke bass amp

+1 on trying a few. Don't use a tube based on the sound it's supposed to give you...use it because you dig the way it sounds. The main thing is that there is no rattling or squealing, and that you get a clean enough tone for your liking.
