What is a good neck match with Rio BBQ Bridge?

Anyone have any suggestions as to what a good match would be for the Bridge Rio BBQ in les paul. I have not heard the Rio Texas yet, but many say in a les paul it may be to bassy? I currently have a 59n and it seems to be to bassy. I love the sound of it and I've tried to componesate, with adjustments but the 59 just gets to boomy on the low end.
any thoughts?

possible combontaions I'm thinking?

APHII neck/Rio BBQ Bridge
Pearly Gates Neck/Rio Grande Bridge

?
I know there are a few of you that have the Rio BBQ in the Bridge, I'm hoping you will chime in for some advice for what you may be using for the neck.

Looking for a smooth clear sound similar to the 59n with less bass, with a good singing quality for some leads, clean and dirty.

thanks

Is your 59 a 4-wire? If so, this little mod works great to "de-mud" it:

If its any help, this should work just the same. I just haven't tested this way yet. Should be identical.

Editted the pic to show co-axial wires. (2-conductor.)

APH sounds like it would do the job if you dont want to de-mud your 59 :D
