I have seen references to a POD in discussions about amps, effects and mixers.

So, What is a POD?

It's a modeler pre-amp/fx/speaker sim made by Line 6, with lots of features.

Go to the Line 6 Website it'll be quicker than explaining! It's got clips and vids and stuff.
