What is the easiest way to transcribe guitar music?

In the past, when I've wanted to notate my compositions, I've used a midi-equipped guitar and Sibelius software.

I want to transcribe my music again, and don't have the skill to just write it down, so I need a system where I can play what I've wrote and it gets transcribed. However, I would rather not go down the midi-guitar route... it required too much equipment and I have no other use whatsoever for guitar midi (if I wanted Synths, I'd use a keyboard).

Are there any other options these days?

I saw USB on a Brian Moore guitar a while back. Dunno what it did, but that might be a possibility?

Just been googling and found a Sibelius distributed software called Audioscore.

Seems to claim to transcribe from just a audio source.

I can't write music straightforwardly either. Have to play it to make sure what I wrote sounds like it's supposed to.

I use mostly use Powertab. You can write the piece and playback it in midi, so you can continuosly keep on track what you're composing.

Slower than audio capture, but makes you build melodies and harmonies you might not have thought of by simply playing.

It's also free software.
