What is wrong?

When I am playing one of my guitars it cuts in and out some. It is impossible to play when it is doing it. I checked all of the connections except the input jack and they are fine. (I did not ckeck it since wiggling the cord does not affect the short. Is it my pickups? The guitar worked fine the first month I used it. The JB worked fine in another ugitar as well. I though it was my speaker but my other guitar has no problems.

Your volume pot could have dust... What does it happen when you tap its knob ? Try to clean it with an adequate spray...

Tapping the knob does nothing

Have you checked your amp and cables?

First thing I did I bough a monster cable a week ago when it started doing it. Still does it. My other guitar is fine
