What kind of bridge is on the les paul artisan model?

i was wondering because it looks rather odd compared to the normal les paul bridges

The bridge is a TOM, pretty standard. The odd part is the fine tune tailpiece. Some people love them but they are a PITA in my opinion, the thumbscrews are forever coming loose and they are easy to loose.
