what kind of new wiring kit???

I play an RI SG with an Antiquity in the neck(its all I use for slide). Just wondering what kind of wiring upgrade I should get. I'm looking to order a kit from RS Guitar Works. What kit exactly should I order. Keep in mind I've already changed the cap in my guitar from stock .022 to .1 for more balls and to tame the shrill highs ala Derek Trucks. I think I did the right thing. They offer a "treble tamer kit" with 300k pots thats supposed to "beef up a bright guitar." I don't know about that. Its sounds more like it.....but the only thing I see, hear, and feel wrong when playing is the electronics. The Volume knob starts at one and is most certaintly not gradual at all......nothing smooth about it. The tone knob isn't very useful either. What kit should I get??
