What kind of pickup is this? The listing says hotrail but it doesn't look like one.

That is good. An SD HotRails is precisely that; it has rails, not poles. I have one in my Tele it is a great pickup. Go out and find a real one and I think you will be very happy.

That's the shit that happens often on eBay. Someone buys a SD pickup and swaps it in for the stock pickup. He puts the stock pickup in the empty SD box and puts it on the shelf.
Decades later when cleaning the shed, his wife finds the box and sells it on fleabay - a generic Asian pickup in a SD box.
