Re: What kind of strings do you use?
Myself, I used Ernie Ball Hybrid Slinkies 9-46 for my electrics, and medium gauge Ernie Ball nickle wound electric strings on my accustic. Ernie Ball's strings are cheap (I buy two or three sets a week), and on the accustic I like to minimize the frip sound when I slide up and down the frets.
I spend a lot of time at the coast and the air has a lot of salt, so I go with nickle on everything. Seems to resist corrosion the best.

I don't really know off hand, but you might want to try nickle wound accustic strings.PennyroyalTea said:Can you buy electric guitar strings where the 3rd string (g in standard) is wound, like on acoustics?
