Yeah,you're stoned.
Must be nice.

Prolly some kinda Japanese import,esp if it's a bolt-on.

Lotus or something like that comes to mind but don't hold me to it.Mebbe daan can help.

Is there a decal/label inside the body?

Looks like fun,tho!

Re: What make of guitar is this??

Schecter Corsair or Ibanez?

I'm leaning more towards Ibby because the Corsairs were an exact replica of the 335's, while the Ibanezes had slight differences, particularly in horns. They tend to be more pointed whereas the Gibby/ Schecters are more rounded.

Re: What make of guitar is this??

Headstock shape looks like an Ibanez to me. Have you removed the pick ups to see if there are any clues? Maxon would indicate Ibanez too.

Re: What make of guitar is this??

Think this could be an Ibby/ Ar series? Ibanez.

That's my guess. Nothing wrong with those guitars. But based on the shape (particularly the horns) and the fact that it appears to be a bit smaller than the standard 335 copy, I'm leaning towards a low end Artcore.

Actually not so.

The Corsair has a much leaner/thinner, sharper, pointed ''ear'', where as the Gibbo 335's that most of us love, have a much more fatter, rounded Mickey Mouse ear.

My mistake. The Ibby's are a bit smaller though, so I still contend Ibanez judging by the proportions of this guitar and the hardware.

Re: What make of guitar is this??

I agree with those who have cited the headstock and body outline as resembling an old Ibanez Artist. On the other hand, the F holes, the finishing and details such as the position marker inlays look sub-standard for Eighties MIJ Ibanez.

Looking at the headstock in particular, the positioning of the machineheads is off for an Ibanez Artist. Also, there are two mystery white marks along the mid line of the headstock - exactly where a raised plastic brand logo would fit.

Some "lawsuit" era Ibanez guitars had a raised plastic logo, a bit like a Gibson Flying V, Futura or Moderne. By the time of the double cutaway Artist series, this was gone.

An Ibanez Artist would be expected to be factory fitted with Super 58 PAF-alike humbuckers. On the semi-hollow models, the output jack is normally mounted on the top rather than the edge.

If somebody told me that the OP guitar was a Korean copy of an Ibanez, I would not be surprised.

Re: What make of guitar is this??

It does remind me a bit of Ibanez, but also the body reminds me a bit of a Washburn hb35. The shoulders are kind of pointed like the Washburn, but this is just my guess haha! The neck and head are different though.

Re: What make of guitar is this??

Thanks to all of you for taking the time & effort to help me here. Iwas looking for a bridge & tailpiece to fit it , but the owner found the orginals.
