What pairs well with a duncan distortion in an epi LP

I recently stuck a secondhand duncan distortion in the bridge of my old epiphone LP and now I'm looking to swap out the neck pup as well. i play mostly hard rock with this guitar so I'm looking for something that would complement the distortion while retaining a balance in volume. (the last time i swapped out a pickup in this ***** i stuck a bb2 in the bridge and for some reason it seems to boost the volume of the neck pup and its been that way ever since)

truth be told i forgot they made a distortion neck. I'm tryna get a feel for my options on the whole ykno

Jazz or '59 would work well too, and be a bit more versatile as those have lower outputs than the Distortion Neck.

Also, with balancing the volume balance of the neck pickup and bridge, make sure you adjust pickup heights to help. Having a lower output in the neck pickup also helps.

If you feel adventurous, try an A4 in a Distortion Neck.
