I generally ONLY like white pickguards (or parchment or white pearl), but I actually like the mint green on my Candy Red malmsteen. I thought I was gonna want to change it, but it looks nice with that color.

Rich, that photo makes it look like yours might have the same spotchiness that mine has developed. Does it? What is it? I haven't seen that problem on any other guitar that I own or that came into the store when I worked in MI sales.

Nope, no spotchiness on mine, at least that I've noticed. I suspect it's just bad photography on my part.

I like vintage pearl on my midnight wine strat. It looks great with a red guitar.

i had a crimson burst with white pearl........it's Classy with a capital C...i think gold would look cool too!?
