what pickup to get?

hi, I have a Fender Bullet 1983, basically a slighlty smaller version of strat, some only have 2 pickups but mine has all 3. After a few months of owning and loving this thing:) the weak and exceedingly trebly bridge pickup is getting on my nerves :yell: . I play many different styles from fairly heavy rock (not v.often) to jazz and blues. I mainly play indi and blues, though it would be nice for my guitar to be able to handle some gain and do some screaming solo's. I am thinking about mini-humbucker things like jb jr but i really dont want to horrendously overpower my middle and neck pickups. maybe dimarzio VV's or fender hot noiseless but I really dont know. I was wondering if you have any suggestions for replacements. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks alot
Nick

Re: what pickup to get?

I doubt the JB would overpower your guitar, it's certainly a high output pickup...but it's not that "powerful" it just depends how you use it, you can easily do searing solo's, all the way down to beautiful cleans. It's extremely versatile, and possibly a little '59 for your blues needs? Just my opinion :-). I hope it helps...

Dimarzio Virtual 2's are beautiful, full, and smooth. The fast track 1 sounded too buckerish to me. The HS3 and HS2 don't have enough output.

Virtual Vintage 2.1, 2 neck, 2.2, 2 bridge, etc all kick ass

cheers guys, keep 'em comin
oh yeah, what do you think of the SD everything axe set, with jb jr at bridge and lil 59 at neck its what your saying but i dont want to loose the strat sound by putting full humbuckers in.
thanks
