What Pickups for Ash, Mahogany, maple and rosewood??

Hi there
I'd like to know which pups best match in an Ash Top, Mahogany Body, Maple Neck and Rosewood Fretboard guitar. I basicly play rock and some times alternative music. I was thinking on Antiquity, Seth Lover, Pearly Gates or JB/Jazz sets in HH configuration. Have been difficult to figure out how my guitar will sound with those pups. If you have other suggestion I will appreciate any advice!!
Many thanks!!

I built a guitar for somebody which had those woods sans the ash top. We used a Pearly Gates (and two singles) but had to go 250k pots. The PG was too bright with 500k pots in that guitar. I would say the Seths would sound excellent even with 500k pots as long as you don't play loud. They might sqeal if you play loud because they are not potted. A potted PAF alternative to consider would be the Alnico 2 Humbucker. The JB/Jazz set is a common combination if you play lots of solos but you might need 250k pots as well.

I have seen some videos with mahogany body guitars using Seth Lover and I like the sound, but my guitar having an ash top, couldn't creat a treble/bright tone effect? Actually the ash top is one of my concerns, because reading other posts, user and luthiers are agree and some other not about the fact of the ash top influence on the tone.

The Alnico 2, do you refer to APH-1 / APH-2 (Slash)? I haven't gave them real attention, I will. However Seth Lovers at the moment are my first choice, I'll continue diging to have at least 2-3 good options.

Thanks for your suggentions Lake PB!

I wouldn't worry too much about the top. How thick is it? Remember LP's have thick caps of maple over mahogony. I like all ash body guitars and have had good luck with them -as long as they are of the light weight variety. But I think your right about considering mostly alnico 2 magnet pickups here. The pearly gates bridge is pretty bright despite A2 I guess from the wind so I'd look more toward the A2H. I havn't used the Slash set so I don't know how it compares. I have a boutique set of PAFs in A2 as well that sound real good, not too bright but still very clear.
