what pickups go best with Lil 59er for southern rock?

Hi

I play lead guitar in a half country half southern rock band.

We split between old school twang and some pretty serious rock scorch with our originals.

I play strat and have been experimenting with a LOT of different pickups.

I have an old Lil59er and could use that in the bridge... but cant find a middle and neck to compliment it. I had a couple of duckbuckers but that didnt work, the lil59er overpowered them.

What I'm kind of looking for is something that would sound sort of clean and kind of twangy using the bridge and middle together in toggle position 2..

is this even possible?

The Lil 59 is going to overpower anything that twangs well.

My thought was the Classic Stack Plus. A Cool Rails will also work, but it won't sound like a single coil.
