What pot value works best with the 78 model?

Im going to drop it in the bridge of an HSS Strat with Classic Stack Plus in neck and middle. The guitar has alder body, maple neck, and vintage-style Fender trem with a Callaham steel block.

Can I use the standard 250k volume pots, or should I do the Suhr thing with 500k pots and add 470k resistors so the stacks "see" 250k? I plan to wir one tone knob to the 78 and the other for both stacks.

Sound-wise, I'm looking for balance between the bucker and the stacks. I cant stand the icepick sound of most strat bridge pickups. Trying to avoid that but also dont want mud either...

If you want some clarity without being ice pick, I really recommend 300k pots.
