I've used various Fender CS pickups, including Nocasters, Fat 50s and Texas Specials for Strat. I'm still using a set of Nocasters in a ltd. ed. Tele and Texas Specials in a Strat, although the Strat may change. I am leaving the stock Fender Atomic II HB in the neck of my 2003 HS Tele, as it's amazingly good sounding in that guitar. I still have stock HBs in my Gibson LP Studio and LP Classic, although I have a set of Antiquity HBs on order for the Classic. I actually like the stock Classic pickups more than I would have guessed, but I got a great deal on the Ants, so I couldn't resist.
I would consider using Fralins or Lollars, but otherwise there seem to be enough good Duncans to keep me busy.
