alright, aftre thinking about this for a while, i came to the conclusion to ask you guys this..

ok, i have this new strat and i plan on replacing the pups in it. it's S-S-S configured but i was thinking, i have this 59 trembucker just sitting around doing nothing, shold i put it in the bridge? i know that i want single coils in it but im not too sure about it fr bridge, i know i like the 59s distorted bridge tone. i'll eventually be getting some duncans for middle and enck soon, and i wont have enough for bridge.

should i just go ahead and put in the 59 in bridge?

Re: what should i do?

My reccomendation: Yes, Sounds like your '59 trembucker would be great in the bridge, get some good ones for the neck and middle and you will have an awesome set up

my original intent was to buy antiquities for the enck and middle but those are quites expensive :D
how would an A2 pro single coils sound? or the ssl-1's or something like that?

Strange that you ask about those pick-ups, I have the exact ones. Let me tell you, they are great. I got them on reccomendation from Curly. SSL-1 Vintage staggered (RW/RP) in the middle position is SWEEEET. I use the Alnico II pro staggered in my neck position even more. I love the tone of those pick-ups. Great for the rock and blues I use 'em for.
