What should I use the mini switches on my guitar for?

Ok so I have a guitar with two mini toggles that wont be used for their intended purpose (controlling a fernandes sustainer system) anymore. Ill be removing the sustainer kit and putting an SD Pearly Gates (four wire humbucker) in the bridge and a Gibson P94 in the neck and now I need to find uses for the two mini toggles.

I was thinking maybe series/parallel and killswitch. What do you guys think about it, how useful would these be, what other options do you suggest etc etc

thx

if it were me I would go with your idea of the series/parallel and kill switch option.

Rock On!

Here's something that I just recently discovered, that works surprisingly well:

Build up a little twin-cap circuit like this. Use a .001uf for the main cap, and then use whatever value you'ld normally use for the "switched" cap. Orient the handle so that the switch is "closed" with the handle down. This is your "normal" tone position. The .001 doesn't add enough to cause a significant change from what you're used to.

Now, when you flip the switch, you get a much more subtle tone affect. This really works great when you're using distortion and have the tone pot on zero. Flipping the switch back and forth gives you two distinctly different tones.

It works great.
