What speaker should I use with the G12H

Hey guys I'm changing the speakers in my 2x12 cab, as of now the speakers are 2 celestion vintage 30's. I'm going with a G12H30 and I wasn't sure if I should put in a Greenback, V30, or another G12H30 for the second one. I see that with the G12H a lot of people combine speakers. What combination would sound the best? I am playing a Les Paul with a JB in the bridge Jazz in neck through a Marshall JTM45. I want a big, tight, balanced sound.

My vote is for two G12h30's with the JTM45.
That just screams Vintage Marshall goodness!

greenback, for some smooth midrange and good a lil breakup when you really whale on it

The JTM45 is a 30W amp correct? IF I am right I think A greenback & the G12H would be a great combination.

OK the input is great but why do you guys feel that way about the speakers you are suggesting

NMV marshall with M or H speakers is The right combination.
LP works great through Hs and I don't care for mixing speakers, so I'd go with H
H is louder than M which could be + or - , if you play live gigs and need more volume from 212 that's the way to go
If you like to dime the amp for maximum amp's overdrive and speakers crunch maybe 2 x M would be a better choice
IME JB works better with Ms in a strat, but you use it in an LP so I can't help you with the PUP issue...

BINGO! That's what i use in my gig rig Orange Rocker 30...I tell ya, the crunch in yer face mids of the V30 with the tight punchy bottom of the G12H is tonal bliss...a BIG crunch with gain and nice detailed cleans.

I've heard G12H speakers sound great on their own. They're kind of my "no speaker mixing required" speaker.

When i plug into the G12H cab by itself, I do prefer the tone over just the V30..but TOGETHER...BAM!
