hey guys going for kinda a slash sound but i hate lps so im using a strat im gonna keep the 250K pots and drop to .047 caps use roundwound strings. havent decided to go with alnico 2 pros, or cool rails. but my question for u guys in amp central is. i am egtting a laney aor of a frind cuz he was selling one and i herd the sound is kinda close but darker. just what i need if im trying to get slash with a strat, but what speakers should i put in the cab i am making, i was looking at celestions are those the way to go. thanks

Slash used Vintage 30's in his Jubilee cabs back with GnR. More recently he has been reported using G12M25 Green Backs.
